A new key visual, third trailer, main theme songs, and more cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Dead Account TV anime series, which will premiere in Japan on January 10, 2026.

The newest trailer highlights the anime’s main opening theme “Dead End” by Haru Igarashi, while the ending theme is “Raise wa Dose” by Miyu Kaneko.
Additionally, the latest cast members to join the series include:

Tetsuya Saito (Rokudo’s Bad Girls) is directing the anime series, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend) as series composer and Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Seasons 1-5) as music composer. SynergySP is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the supernatural action manga by Shizumu Watanabe, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from January 18, 2023 to September 6, 2023. It was then moved to the Magazine Pocket website on October 7, 2023. Twelve tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2025, with a 13th volume set to be released on January 16, 2026.
A “team roguelite” video game adaptation for iOS, Android, and PC (via STOVE) was announced in October 2025 and is being developed by IANGAMES. The game is titled Dead Account ~Futatsu no Aoi Hono~ and will have a global release.

K Manga publishes the Dead Account manga series in English digitally, describing the main premise as:
Always ready for a fight! Destruction for destruction’s sake! The online streamer Aoringo is a troll, making the worst of the worst of boundary-pushing flamebait content and raking in the revenue from the hate-watchers. You may think he’s nothing more than a bottom feeder and a drain on society, but in reality, he’s high school dropout Soji Enishiro, a caring older brother with a sweet tooth who loves nothing more than his little sister. His viral videos? Just a way to pay his sister’s medical bills. And even if all of humanity hates him, he doesn’t care, so long as his little sister gets better. But then, something very strange begins to happen…
