Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 Reveals Teaser Trailer; Kaito Ishikawa Joins Cast

The upcoming second season of Mission: Yozakura Family has released a teaser trailer. The trailer was shown during Jump Festa 2026 on the Jump Studio Stage. The second season is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.

It was also announced that Kaito Ishikawa will join the cast voicing as Sosuke Michibata.

​Mission: Yozakura Family is an action-comedy manga written by Hitsuji Gondaira. It ran from August 2019 to March 2025 in Weekly Shonen Jump and released a total of 29 manga volumes. The first season of its anime adaptation aired from April 2024 to October 2024.

Viz Media has licensed and published the manga in English. It describes the synopsis of the first volume as:

Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers. Her oldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and out to kill anyone who gets remotely near her—and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to save himself from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!
