A TV anime adaptation of the Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san manga series has been announced and will premiere in Summer 2026. Details on the anime’s studio, staff, and voice cast were not revealed, as of the time of writing.

WWWave Corporation’s “Deregula” label is producing the anime series. The company previously produced other short-form adult anime adaptations such as the upcoming Ingoku Danchi and Does it Count if You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?.
Celebratory illustrations by the manga’s writer Eroki (left) and artist Shinko Konoshiro (right) were also released on the anime’s official Twitter/X account.
The erotic comedy manga series was launched in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and MangaONE services on March 27, 2020. Eleven tankobon volumes have been published in Japan, as of August 2025, under the Ura Sunday Comics imprint. A 12th volume will be released on February 19, 2026.
Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san follows Shizuka, a high schooler who has the ability to see ghosts and works for a psychic with strange exorcism skills.
