L’étoile de Paris en Fleur’s “Riding the wind” Theme Song Now Available on Music Streaming Platforms

Japanese four-piece band Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s “Riding the wind” single is now available on music streaming platforms, which serves as the theme song of the L’étoile de Paris en Fleur anime film. The upcoming anime film (also known in Japanese as Paris ni Saku L’etoile) is set to premiere in Japan on March 13, 2026. 

A collaboration music video of “Riding the wind” has also been released on the band’s YouTube channel, which features various scenes from L’étoile de Paris en Fleur. Another music video for the song will debut on March 11, 2026. 

The theme song was composed by bassist Shingo Anami and the lyrics were written by vocalist Haruko Nagaya

Goro Taniguchi (ONE PIECE FILM RED, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection) is directing the anime film at ARVO ANIMATION. Other staff include Katsuya Kondo (Kiki’s Delivery Service, Ocean Waves) as original character designer, Yu Yamashita (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare), Reiko Yoshida (A Silent Voice) as scriptwriter, Yuji Kaneko (Tengoku Daimakyo) as background art director, and Tsunetaka Ema (My Happy Marriage) as compositing director.

Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes Ami Toma as Fujiko Tsugita, Rina Arashi as Chizuru Sonoi, and Taichi Saotome as Ruslan.

L’étoile de Paris en Fleur follows two young women, Fujiko and Chizuru, who first meet in Yokohama, before fatefully reuniting in Paris five years later to pursue their respective dreams.
