Subtitle has announced an official apparel collaboration with Toho International to release an 18-piece capsule collection inspired by the Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime series.
The apparel collection consists of several items such as “The Uniform Sets,” which include clothing made from a wool-blend that was created to resemble the Japanese high school uniforms in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Other items include the “Black Flash T-shirt”, which is a black tee accented with red coverstitches, and “Yuji’s Red Hood Shirt”, which is a red hooded dress shirt inspired by the character’s hoodie worn throughout the series.
The collection also has future releases that will debut later on, such as the “Mahito Idle Transfiguration Jacket,” which is designed with adjustable, detachable sleeves, and the “Geto Zip Sweatshirt.”
Several items from the Jujutsu Kaisen fashion collection are now available for purchase on the TOHO animation STORE US website, while some items are open for pre-order. Additional release drops and product details will be announced through Subtitle’s official website and TOHO animation STORE US’ official Instagram and TikTok.
Subtitle is a fashion label founded by creative director and “cultural strategist” Liang Shi. Its mission is to “treat anime as a legitimate design language” by “building garments from narrative logic rather than graphic application.” The Jujutsu Kaisen fashion collection marks the brand’s debut apparel release and is the first collaboration with Toho International.
