The second season of The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated TV anime will begin airing in 2027. A teaser visual and recap trailer were released alongside the announcement.

The returning staff from Season 1 include director Masafumi Tamura, series composer Katsuhiko Takayama, and character designer Eri Osada. SILVER LINK. is the only animation production studio this time, after co-producing with Palette previously.
The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat‘s first season aired in 2021, with the second season’s announcement being made in 2023. The anime adapts the light novels written by Redo of Healer‘s Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia. Yen Press describes the first volume of the light novels as such:
The greatest assassin on Earth knew only how to live as a tool for his employers—until they stopped letting him live. Reborn by the grace of a goddess into a world of swords and sorcery, he’s offered a chance to do things differently this time around, but there’s a catch…He has to eliminate a super-powerful hero who will bring about the end of the world unless he is stopped. The light novels debuted in 2019 under KADOKAWA’s Sneaker Bunko label/imprint, and there are eight volumes as of 2024. The books are published. There is also a manga adaptation by Hamao Sumeragi.
The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat started as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2018.
