A key visual for Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 has been revealed ahead of the anime’s July broadcast premiere. This was accompanied by the announcement of “Natsuko” by FUNKY MONEKY BΛBY as the opening theme song.
Grand Blue Dreaming is based on the Kodansha-published manga written by Kenji Inoue and drawn by Kimitake Yoshioka. Kodansha USA describes the manga as such:
After moving out on his own to a seaside town, Iori Kitahara makes a college debut he never anticipated. A new chapter of his life unfolds, full of diving with beautiful girls and shenanigans with a gaggle of lovable bastards! Idiot-expert Kenji Inoue and au naturel authority Kimitake Yoshioka bring you a glorious college tale filled with booze-fueled antics!
Season 3 will see the crew head to Palau and include Sayaka Ohara, Asami Seto, and Aya Suzaki among the cast. Their respective characters are Sayaka Kotegawa, Chief (of the Palau diving shop Dolphin), and Maki.
The Grand Blue Dreaming manga started serialization in Good! Afternoon in 2014 and has 26 volumes as of April 2026. The first two seasons of the anime aired in 2018 and 2025.
