Tank Chair Anime’s Character Trailer Reveals its Main Cast

A character trailer for the Tank Chair TV anime, which is scheduled to begin airing in the Fall 2026 anime season, has been released. It highlights the story’s four core characters and reveals the voices behind them.

︀︀The announced voice cast members are Koki Uchiyama as Nagi Taira, Minori Fujidera as Shizuka Taira, Gakuto Kajiwara as Naozumi Kurosaka, and Saori Hayami as Toko Kurosaka.

Tank Chair is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Manabu Yashiro. Kodansha USA describes the manga’s synopsis as such:

Living on Guicheng Island, called “the most dangerous town in the universe,” is no easy task. Genetic doping is common for gangs to gain ultimate power. Shizuka, a young girl, takes on the most dangerous of assassin jobs, but she’s not the one doing the killing. Rather, it’s her brother, Nagi, a strong assassin who took a bullet to protect his sister, leaving him in a comatose state and having to use a wheelchair. However, Shizuka has figured out the key to waking her brother up: he must be faced with murderous intent! Thus begins a violent journey of recovery, battling the most dangerous foes!

The Tank Chair manga debuted on Magazine Pocket in November 2022 and came to Monthly Comic Sirius in November 2024. There are 10 volumes as of March 2026.
