Erotic horror-comedy KAMUI — He’s Behind You has received a main trailer and a second key visual, as well as the reveal of its July 3, 25;30 JST (effectively July 4, 01:30 JST) start date. The main trailer comes in two flavors — both are not safe for work and feature the same footage, but one of them provides additional reasons to put on a headphone. (The visual is also not safe for work).
KAMUI — He’s Behind You (Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san) is based on the Shogakukan-published manga written by Eroki and drawn by Shinko Konoshiro. The main heroine, Shijika Mimizuka, is an assistant to the psychic Kamui, who exorcises spirits via sexual means.
Aside from the broadcast version, there will be a less censored version of the anime on d Anime Store and an uncensored version on AnimeFesta. The show is part of WWWave‘s Deregula label, which focuses on erotic anime content.
The manga began serialization on Ura Sunday and Manga One in March 2020. There are 12 volumes as of February 2026..
