Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! 2 Premieres July 2; Reveals New Trailer

The second season of Bungo Stray Dog Wan! premieres on July 2. A new trailer has also been revealed featuring its ending theme song. The theme song is titled “We ~Ryunosuke Akutagawa ver.~” and is sung by Kensho Ono, who voices Ryunosuke Akutagawa in the series. It was first announced in November 2025.

Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! is a comedy, slice-of-life, supernatural manga series by Neco Kanai. It is a spin-off from Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s original Bungo Stray Dogs manga. It was serialized in Young Ace Up before being serialized in KADOKAWA Shoten. As of June 2026, 15 manga volumes have been released.

The first season of Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! aired from January 2021 to March 2021 and ran for 12 short episodes.

Yen Press has licensed and is publishing the manga in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season and describes the series as:

“Bungo Stray Dogs: an action battle epic set in the bustling, fictional city of Yokohama, where the port winds howl as “gifteds” whose powers take after the giants of literature.

Could you believe that those characters of the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia, whose battles bring them to the edge of death, would come looking so adorable and minimalistic, just to jest and jive?!”
