Another main trailer and key visual for Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 have been released. It was also revealed that Kento Hama, Hiroshi Naka, and Mitsuo Iwata have been casted as Ein, Hanzo, and Charros, respectively.
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2, which Crunchyroll will air, will begin its regular broadcast on July 6, with an early Episode 1 premiere on July 4. The anime is an adaptation of the OVERLAP Novels light novel series written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by Akira Sawano. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the light novel’s first volume as such:
One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.
The light novel series began in 2015 and has 10 volumes as of 2022. The series has also inspired a manga adaptation by Akira Sawano.
The anime’s Studio KAI and HORNETS-produced first season aired in 2022.
