The first key visual, trailer, and opening theme song have been unveiled for the upcoming Devils’ Crest TV anime series during Warner Bros. Japan’s industry panel at Anime Expo 2026. The anime will premiere on November 6, 2026 and stream exclusively worldwide on Prime Video.
The trailer showcases the anime’s opening theme “Shinka” by Japanese singer Ado.
An English-subtitled version of the trailer was also released by Warner Bros. Japan.
Additionally, two new voice cast members have been announced for the series, which include Yuya Hirose as Kenji Kondo and Satomi Amano as Minagi Sano.
They join previously announced cast members Haruka Shiraishi as Yuma Ashihara and Konomi Inagaki as Sawa Ashihara.
Kenichiro Komaya is directing the anime series, with Shinji Ushiro (Scum of the Brave and Blessing of the Campanella director) as chief director and Yukiko Horiguchi as character designer. Horiguchi is also the original light novels’ illustrator and has previously been a character designer for anime like K-On! and Lucky Star. Production I.G is handling the animation production.
Other staff include Eiji Umehara (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song co-series composer) as series composer and Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia) and Naoyuki Chikatani (Ya Boy Kongming! live-action movie) as music composers.
The adventure fantasy light novel series is written by Sword Art Online author Reki Kawahara and was first published under KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko imprint on November 10, 2022. Four volumes have been released in Japan as of December 2025.
The light novels also inspired a webtoon manga series in November 2022, which is drawn by TOmoe with scripts by Koroku Takano. It has been published digitally on the Hyke Comic platform.
Yen Press releases the Devils’ Crest light novel series in English under the alternate title Demons’ Crest. It describes the main synopsis as:
