A second key visual, main trailer, and three more voice cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Magic Knight Rayearth TV anime series at Anime Expo 2026. The anime remake is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on October 7, 2026.
The trailer previews the three additional characters and their respective voice actors.
The additional cast members joining the series (from left to right below) include Yuki Kaji as Clef, Emiri Kato as Presea, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Ferio.
Meanwhile, the anime’s previously announced voice cast include:

Yui Miura is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (ZOMBIELAND SAGA) a series composer and Satomi Watanabe (Aikatsu on Parade!) as character designer. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/Zero, Noir), Takumi Ozawa (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story), and Shiho Terada (Delicious Party Precure) are the music composers. E&H production is in charge of the animation production.
A previous Magic Knight Rayearth TV anime aired in Japan from 1994 to 1995 with a total of 49 episodes. It was directed by Toshiki Hirano (Baki Hanma) with character designs from Atsuko Ishida (Shin Hakkenden), and credited Yomiuri TV and Tokyo Movie Shinsha (now TMS Entertainment) with the production. There was also a three-part OVA series that was released in 1997.
The shojo fantasy manga series by CLAMP was serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine from November 1993 to February 1995. A follow-up manga titled Magic Knight Rayearth 2 was released in Japan between 1995 to 1996.
Kodansha USA releases the Magic Knight Rayearth manga in English, describing the mian synopsis as:
While on a field trip to Tokyo Tower, three teenage girls cross a magical portal and are transported to another world called Cefiro. There they are summoned through the last remaining strength of the Princess Emeraude, who believes the trio will become the magic knights who will save her, as prophesied by legend.
