A TV anime adaptation of the Seven Sleeping Beauties (Nananin no Nemurihime) manga has been announced with a “super teaser visual.” It will be begin airing in 2027.
Mankyu (The Ramparts of Ice, The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors, The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, Migi & Dali) is directing the Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ SMASH co-production. Masaru Kodeki (World’s End Harem) is the character designer.
Meanwhile, the voices of the seven princesses (in descending order) are:
• Aya Yamane as Flora
• Yoshino Aoyama as Kiara
• Miku Ito as Claire
• Ayasa Ito as Mia
• Kana Ichinose as Charlotte
• Fuka Izumi as Yuka
• Rina Kawaguchi as Eliza
Seven Sleeping Beauties‘ premise involves the third prince of a kingdom attempting to save another realm, which has been cursed to slumber by a witch. At the castle’s tower, he discovers seven sleeping princesses, whom he awakens with kisses. However, the rest of the kingdom remains asleep, and the princesses aren’t happy about being kissed non-consensually.
The manga was created by Fiok Lee and is running in Kodansha’s seinen magazine Afternoon. There are 11 volumes as of April 2026.
