More details have arrived for the Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love! anime, which kicks off its adaptation of mamakari’s manga on October 6. In addition to a new trailer and visual, the staff behind the series announced more cast members and theme song info.
GANG PARADE is on the opening song, “Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy,” and Keisuke Yuki VA Yuma Uchida is on the ending song, “Watashi de Yokkata!!!” Check out the new preview below and read on for the latest cast additions.

Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love! was first announced for the small screen in November 2023. As for the main staff behind it, Kazuomi Koga (Rent-a-Girlfriend) directs, with Aya Watatane on series composition, Atsuko Takahashi on character designs and Satoshi Hono and Kaori Nakano on music for the Marvy Jack production.
Manga Plaza publishes the Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love! manga digitally in English and sums up the story:
“This is the punishment for a fat, ugly girl like me falling in love with someone as beautiful as you…” Yumeko had a mountain of complexes about herself. Then, a terrible accident befalls her. Though somehow saved from the brink of death, Yumeko wakes up a completely different person. “This is…me…?!
