Two new trailers have been released for the upcoming Toritsukare Otoko musical anime film. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on November 7, 2025.
The first trailer previews the in-film musical song “Fanfare ~Koi ni Ukarete~”, which is a variation of the main theme song “Fanfare,” performed by main cast members Masaya Sano and Moka Kamishiraishi as their characters.
Additionally, the second trailer highlights the film’s main theme “Fanfare” by Japanese band Awesome City Club.
Wataru Takahashi (Crayon Shin-chan: Shrouded in Mystery! The Flowers of Tenkasu Academy, Crayon Shin-chan: Intense Battle! Robo Dad Strikes Back) is directing the anime film, with Naoyuki Miura as scriptwriter and Masatsugu Arakawa (Mach Girl director, Uchuu Camper Chicchi director, original character designer et al.) as character designer. Shin-Ei Animation is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime film’s voice cast stars Sano as Giuseppe, Kamishiraishi as Pechka, and • Hayato Kakizawa as Cielo.
The original novel by Shinji Ishii was first published online through Biriken Shuppan on October 1, 2001. The novel later received a bunkoban release from Shinchosha in March 2006.

Toritsukare Otoko follows Giuseppe, who is given the titular moniker by the townsfolk as he pays undivided attention to whatever fascinates him at the moment. The story depicts the romance between him and the balloon seller Pechka, with Giuseppe trying to resolve her worries with the help of the many skills he has picked up as well as Cielo, a rat whom Giuseppe is able to communicate with.
