Four more new additional cast members and main theme songs have been revealed for the upcoming Champignon no Majo TV anime series. The anime will begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026.
The newest cast members joining the series (from left to right above) include:

- • Emiri Kato as Minos
- • Miho Okasaki as Merino
- • Misato Fukuen as Sisi
They join a previously announced voice cast headlined by Haruka Shiraishi as Luna and Yuki Sakakihara as Lize.
Meanwhile, the anime’s opening theme song is “Maho Tsukai no Nikki” by ROSU, while the ending theme song is “Kimi wa” by Ms.OOJA.
Yosuke Kubo (Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools) is directing the anime series, with Yuko Kakihara (The Apothecary Diaries scenario supervisor) as series composer and Miki Matsumoto (Major 2nd: Season 2) as character designer. Typhoon Graphics and Qzil.la are in charge of the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the fantasy manga series by Tachibana Higuchi, which began serialization in Hakusensha’s Manga Park on October 18, 2019. Six tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2024.
The story of Champignon no Majo focuses on the feared witch Luna, who is known as the Mushroom Witch due to the poisonous mushrooms that sprout in her presence.
