A new short first trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming “light anime” adaptation of Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! The series is expected to premiere in Japan in January 2026.
Yusuke Morishita is directing the light anime series, with Izumi Tezuka as series composer. Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio are in charge of the animation production.
Ayumu Murase will voice the protagonist Alba, while Shouta Aoi will voice Orsis.
The light novel series is written by Tenma Asahi and illustrated by Kazuaki and was first published by AlphaPolis’s Andarche Novels imprint on November 20, 2022. It originally began as a web novel published on AlphaPolis’ website on September 25, 2021. A manga adaptation by Aki Tsujimoto was launched in January 2024.
Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! is the first light anime adaptation from Boys’ Love animation label BALLOON, which includes partners such as IMAGICA Infos, Dai Nippon Printing, CYBIRD, and Blue Rights. Comic Natalie previously reported the involvement of AnimationID in the series.
The show follows Alba, who reincarnates as the step brother of the game character they were a fan of.
