### Synopsis
A new visual and song cover video have been released for The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten TV anime series. The anime’s second season is expected to begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2026.  The newly released visual depicts the lead heroine, Mahiru Shiina, performing as an idol. The visual’s release is part of a new idol-themed project centered on the character, which recently opened an official website and Twitter/X account.  ©佐伯さん・SBクリエイティブ/アニメ「お隣の天使様」製作委員会 In addition, a video featuring a cover of Seiko Matsuda’s 1980 song “Aoi Sangoshou” (“Blue Lagoon”) has also been released, which is performed by Mahiru’s voice actress Manaka Iwami. The cover song is now available on music streaming platforms and for purchase in stores.  Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director, director of the upcoming The Kept Man of the Princess Knight) is the new director for season two. The previous season’s director was Kenichi Imaizumi (Kingdom Season 3 to 5 and After School Dice Club director), but sometime before the show premiered, the credits changed to list Lihua Wang/Reika Ou as director and Imaizumi as supervisor. Keiichiro Ochi and Takayuki Noguchi are returning as the screenwriter and character designer, respectively, along with N-Nei Kurahashi as sub-character designer.
