The Bungo Stray Dogs anime series is celebrating its 10th anniversary this coming April 2026 with a special musical concert event in Tokyo and Osaka in May.
The anniversary concert event is titled Bungo Stray Dogs -Mayoi Inutachi No Onso- (Anime Soundtrack Concert) and will be led by the anime series’ music composer Taku Iwasaki, who will serve as the band master and keyboardist. It will include a live performance from several musicians in a band arrangement, accompanied by anime visuals projected on a giant screen.
The Osaka concert will take place at the ORIX Theater on May 4, 2026, while the Tokyo concert will take place on May 23, 2026 at the TACHIKAWA STAGE GARDEN. Certain staging and performance elements may vary between shows.
Besides Iwasaki, the list of other participating musicians for the event include:

- • Yuri Nakamura Group (Sax Quartet)

In addition, official music playlists featuring tracks that will be performed at the concert are now available on music streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.
Newly recorded character voice announcements will also be played at the beginning and end of each performance. These special announcements will vary from each show and there will be no on-stage appearances from the anime’s voice actors. The details are as follows:
1st STAGE [Osaka]
- • Opening Announcement: Osamu Dazai (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) and Chuya Nakahara (voiced by Kisho Taniyama)

2nd STAGE [Tokyo]

3rd STAGE [Tokyo]

Three different types of tickets will be sold for the concert event, with the prices listed (before taxes and fees) as:
- • VIP Ticket with guaranteed front-section seating and exclusive bonus items: 18,200 yen (US$115.35)
- • General seat with exclusive bonus items: 13,400 yen (US$84.93)
- • General seat: 8,800 yen (US$55.78)
All attendees will receive a complimentary setlist as a special admission gift.
Meanwhile, VIP ticket holders will get two exclusive bonus items: the first is a 24-page pamphlet that includes exclusive interviews with the creative team, behind-the-scenes concert materials, and more. The second item is a satin ticket that will have unique designs for the Osaka and Tokyo performances.
Applications for the second round of an advance ticket lottery for the event are open from now to March 17, 2026. Results will be announced on March 20, 2026 and the payment period will run from that date to March 24, 2026. Each applicant is limited to getting four tickets and will be distributed one week prior to the performance date.
