A new main visual for upcoming original mermaid anime Goodbye, Lara has arrived, along with a limited-time sneak peek of its first episode.
It was also announced that its Anime Central premiere screening will take place on May 16. Various screening events in Japan will also be held.
Additionally, there are new staff reveals, including:

Goodbye, Lara sees the titular mermaid surfacing in Shiga Prefecture’s Lake Biwa and becoming housemates with teenage boxer Mari. 200 years before the main story, Lara fell love with a human prince and consumed a witch’s potion to become human herself. Alas, failing to find true love results in a side effect, causing Lara to turn into bubbles.
The anime is the 15th anniversary project of animation production studio Kinema Citrus. It is also the series directorial debut of Shiga native Takushi Koide (assistant director, revue costume designer, weapon designer, and more on Revue Starlight and its movie sequel.).
