The Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi TV anime has received a main trailer and main visual ahead of its newly revealed April 11, 26:00 JST (effectively April 12 at 2 AM JST) broadcast premiere.
It was also announced that the opening song is “Ciao Ciao” by Sophià la Mode, while the ending song is “Yawayawa NERD Cho FreQuency” by Mugendai Mewtype.
Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi is based on the 4-koma manga by Hisamakumako. The manga’s premise sees countryside girl Meiko, who is attending a high school for ladies, ending up as a live-in employee at a manga cafe.
Entertainment company REMOW has said that it’s in charge of the anime’s global sales and marketing rights.
The Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi manga began serialization in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara in 2018 and has four volumes as of July 2025.
