The official website of the upcoming “light anime” series Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! announced the casting of Ayumu Murase and Shouta Aoi as its lead characters. The series will premiere in Japan in January 2026.
Murase has been cast as the protagonist Alba and Aoi as Orsis.
Yusuke Morishita is directing the light anime, with Izumi Tezuka as series composer. Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio are in charge of the animation production.
Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! is the first light anime adaptation from Boys’ Love animation label BALLOON, which includes partners such as IMAGICA Infos, Dai Nippon Printing, CYBIRD, and Blue Rights. Comic Natalie previously reported the involvement of AnimationID in the series.
The original light novel series is written by Tenma Asahi and illustrated by Kazuaki. It was originally a web novel before being published by AlphaPolis in November 2022 under the Andarche Novels imprint. A manga adaptation was launched in January 2024.
Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! follows Alba, who reincarnates as the step brother of the game character they were a fan of.
