The classic Left 4 Dead 2 could come back … But not in the way you imagine

One of the franchises that are missed in the video game industry is Left 4 Dead, whose first installment originally came in 2008 to last generation consoles and a PC. The title had a successful sequel the following year, but since then the series went into deep lethargy. Fortunately, we will soon know more about it, because L4D will return although in the form of a collaborative event with Dying Light.

Through a message on Twitter, the developed Techland reported that a collaborative event is on its way to Dying Light, a game that debuted in 2015 and presented content inspired by Left 4 Dead 2. Perhaps for many of us, this would be a bit unexpected, but taking in It tells the theme of both deliveries and, especially, next month the title of the valve will turn 10 years, it is strange that he had not done it before.

Something that should be recognized at Techland is the initiative to make these collaborations to provide more content to your game because we take into account that it was released more than 4 years ago and the sequel has even been announced.

Also, it will be a great way to revive Left 4 Dead in some way, which has been on a long break for years. As for the collaboration, few details were revealed, but, judging by the publication shared by the developer, players can end up with zombies in the style of Left 4 Dead 2 and in the image you can see survivors with curious weapons, like a pan and an electric guitar. We will keep you informed about the details when Techland reveals them. Dying Light is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
