Two more new cast members have been revealed for the upcoming The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2026.
The new cast members include Haruka Shiraishi as Cocko and Yasunori Matsumoto as Cockdole.
They join the anime’s voice cast which includes:
- • Makoto Furukawa as Hajime Shinonome
- • Sayumi Suzushiro as Lilui
- • Shizuka Ito as Veronica
- • Yuki Kuwahara as Anyango
- • Tomohiro Ono as Richat
Toshinori Fukushima (Duel Masters LOST: Tsuioku no Suishou and Duel Masters LOST: Gekka no Shinigamia director) is directing the anime series and serving as series composer, with Yoshihiro Nagamori (Beyblade X, Mazica Party) as the main character designer. HORNETS is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the fantasy manga series by Ippei Nara, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on January 9, 2016 and has released 20 tankobon volumes as of September 2025. The series is known in Japan as 29-sai Dokushin Chuken Bokensha no Nichijo.

Having spent his childhood in the slums, Hajime Shinonome desperately sought strength to survive.
Now, he enjoys a peaceful and carefree life as a resident adventurer of the Komai Village. One day, during a quest, he ventured into a dungeon and finds a young girl being partially eaten by a weakest kind of monster, a slime!
The girl’s name was Lirui. Having been abandoned by her parents, she had no place to go and entered the dungeon alone in order to stay alive. Hajime couldn’t just leave her there, so he took her back to the village to live with him!
