The upcoming The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)! TV anime will begin airing on April 4. A second trailer was also released.
These reveals were accompanied by the announcement of “Mou Iikai?” by Phantom Siita as the ending theme song and the following cast additions: Yurika Kubo, Taiten Kusunoki, and Rie Hikisaka.
The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)! (Saikyo no Shokugyo wa Yusha demo Kenja demonaku Kanteishi (Kari) rashii desu yo?) is based on the Alphapolis-published light novel series written by Atekichi and illustrated by Akira Shigaraki. There is also a manga, the synopsis of which Alphamanga describes as such:
Hibiki, a high school student who was suddenly transferred to another world, wanders alone in a vast grassland of a fantasy world where monsters inhabit. All he has are non-combat skills such as “Appraisal”! From a hopeless situation, he is saved by encounters, and his all-powerful abilities blossom! An another world adventure tale of miraculous reversal cheats burst forth!
The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)! began as a web novel in 2016. The light novel series started in 2017 and will release its ninth volume in Japan on March 18, 2026.
