Animated Music Video for PORNOGRAFFITTI’s “Dessin4” Drops on YouTube

An animated music video for PORNOGRAFFITTI‘s “Dessin4” song has been released on the Japanese band’s YouTube channel.

The sci-fi video follows a Jody, a girl who was adopted by a large robot that found her in a junkyard. Their father-daughter relationship is the focus of the animation, which also depicts an abandoned urban landscape with a pencil-drawn air.

Tomoya Watanabe directed and wrote the “Dessin4” music video. The storyboards came from ODS-labo’s URARA, also is also credited as animation director and animation supervisor.

Other staff members include:

• Character designer: Wataru Tsukiyo
• Background art director, background artist, and mechanical designer: Jo Kudamatsu
• Compositor: Hirotsugu
• Assistant director: Riho Aoki

The animation production studio is Xenotoon Inc., which calls itself a “decentralized anime studio built on a ‘Social Media First’ and ‘Creator First’ philosophy.” The studio claims that it’s “challenging the traditional norms of funding, production, and distribution — democratizing the entire anime ecosystem” through “technologies such as Web3, AI, and XR.”

“Dessin4” is part of PORNOGRAFFITTI’s Seed EP, which had its streaming release on February 11. It is the first “Dessin” song since 2003’s “Dessin3.”

PORNOGRAFFITTI recently performed at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The band’s “THE REVO” was the opening song for last year’s My Hero Academia Final Season, which was the winner of the previously mentioned event’s Anime of the Year award.
