Disney+ is expanding its slate of anime content in the UK and France with films like Your Name and Perfect Blue, the result of an arrangement with TOHO-owned UK-based distributor Anime! Ltd..
The full list features:

• Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (UK and France)
• The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (UK and France)
• Mirai (UK. and France)
• Perfect Blue
• Summer Wars (UK. and France)
• Weathering with You (UK and France)
• Wolf Children (UK and France)
• Your Name.
There’s no word yet on when these films will show up on Disney+. The press release says that the addition of Weathering with You and the acquired Mamoru Hosoda films will mark their streaming debut in the UK and France.
In a quote for the press release, The Walt Disney Company’s Head of Content Planning & Partnerships, DTC Lauren Tempest said, “We’re committed to meeting the audience where they are and making Disney+ the home of beloved anime storytelling—bringing culture, community, and must-watch stories to one destination.”
Disney+ is set to stream Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc later this year, and will debut Death Stranding Isolations, one of two upcoming anime inspired by Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding video game series, in 2027.
