The Kaiju Girl Caramelise TV anime has gotten a second main trailer and main visual, along with a July 2 broadcast start date. Theme song details were also revealed.
The opening song is “KAIJU GIRL” by METANICK, while the ending song is “OtomenoHonki” by HoneyWorks feat. HaKoniwalily.
Kaiju Girl Caramelise, which is based on the manga by Spica Aoki, sees clumsy and socially awkward high schooler Kuroe Akaish falling for popular classmate Arata Minami. This leads to Kuroe’s “dormant power” awakening.
The anime is slated to be featured at the Anime Expo, Otakon, and AnimagiC conventions. Anime Expo will have a screening of the first episode and the North American premiere of Episode 2 at a panel on July 3. Otakon and AnimagiC will screen Episode 5 and premiere Episode 6 in North America and Europe, respectively.
The Kaiju Girl Caramelise manga debuted in KADOKAWA’s Monthly comic alive in 2018 and has nine volumes as of 2025.
