A teaser trailer and teaser visual have been revealed for Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms Season 2. The credits show that Yoshiaki Okumura is returning to direct at SynergySP.
Character designer Mayumi Watanabe is also reprising her role, but the series composer is now Yoriko Tomita (My Dress-Up Darling), who is replacing Kazuyuki Fudeyasu.
Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms is based on the romantic comedy manga by Ran Kuze. Kodansha USA describes the manga as such:
Mona is the cutest girl in school, and she knows it. In fact, she’s worked hard to make her high school debut successful. But no matter what she does, she can’t seem to catch the eye of stone-cold stoic Medaka Kuroiwa — but she’s not about to give up that easy. Medaka, on the other hand, has been raised at a temple and was told to never become close to women. Who will win in this heated battle of wills?
The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2021 and has 23 volumes as of March 2026. It was originally a 2020 one-shot.
The first season of the anime began airing in January 2025. No date has been given for the new season.
