Senku Flies to the Moon in New Dr. Stone Science Future Trailer

Senku and his friends finally embark on a journey towards the moon in a new climax trailer for the third cour of Dr. Stone: Science Future. The third cour began airing in Japan on April 2, 2026.  

The trailer also features the third cour’s main ending theme song “ROCKET” by Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES

An updated climax visual, featuring Senku, Kohaku, and Stanley, was also released on the Dr. Stone official Japanese Twitter/X account last week.

Shuhei Matsushita (Dr. Stone Ryusei and Dr. Stone New World) is directing the anime’s third cour, with Kurasumi Sunayama (The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest) as series composer and Yuko Iwasa (returning) as character designer. TMS Entertainment is handling the animation production.

Dr. Stone Science Future is the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation, which has three split cours. Science Future’s first cour aired in Japan from January 9, 2025 to March 27, 2025 for 12 episodes. The second cour also had 12 episodes and aired in Japan from July 10, 2025 to September 25, 2025. 

The first season of Dr. Stone was released in 2019 and was followed by the second season, Stone Wars, in 2021. The third season, Dr. Stone: New World, premiered its first cour in April 2023 and the second cour in October 2023. 

The adventure science fiction manga series was written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 6, 2017 to March 7, 2022 and released a total of 27 tankobon volumes in Japan. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English.

Dr. Stone: Science Future is streaming on Crunchyroll in select countries and territories worldwide. Its main premise is described as: 

After the battle on Treasure Island, Senku and the gang return to the Kingdom of Science. With their sights set on the Moon, they must first voyage to the Americas in hopes of beginning to harvest the required materials. Through teamwork and science, they continue the fight to save humanity once and for all!
