A third teaser visual and trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Tenko-saki no Seisokaren na Bishojo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osanajimi Datta Ken TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan in July 2026.

Both the visual and trailer highlight the spring season and the cherry blossom trees.
Jyo Denhou/Chuanfeng Xu (Apocalypse Hotel Episode 4 director) is directing the anime series (also known as Tenbin), with Deko Akao (May I Ask for One Final Thing?) as series composer and N-Nei Kurahashi (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten sub-character designer) as character designer. Project No. 9 is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Shunichi Toki as Hayato Kirishima
- • Miharu Hanai as Himeko Kirishima
- • Natsumi Haruse as Minamo Mitake
- • Fuka Izumi as Saki Murao
The romantic comedy light novel series is written by Yu Hibari and illustrated by Shiso. It was first published under Kadokawa Shoten’s Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint on February 27, 2021 and has released nine volumes as of August 2025. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2020.
A manga adaptation by Kina Oyama was published between September 2021 and June 2025.

Tenko-saki no Seisokaren na Bishojo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osanajimi Datta Ken centers on Hayato Kirishima reuniting with his childhood friend Haruki after transferring to a high school in the city. Although Hayato thought Haruki was a boy, he finds that the person before him now has the appearance of a cute and proper beauty.
