Three additional voice cast members have been announced for the currently airing Kirio Fan Club TV anime series. The anime premiered in Japan on April 2, 2026.
The three new cast members include Yoko Hikasa as a younger Kirio, Yui Kanari as Nozomi, and Yu Serizawa as Yua. The characters will make an appearance in the show’s upcoming eighth episode that will air in Japan on May 21, 2026.

HIDIVE and Ani-One Asia are streaming the anime in select countries and territories worldwide.
So Toyama (The Apothecary Diaries Episode 16 storyboard artist and director) is directing the anime series, with Aya Satsuki (Solo Camping for Two) as series composer and scriptwriter, Nami Hayashi (Tasuketsu -Fate of the Majority) as character designer, and Kikuko Sadakata (Twin Star Exorcists character designer) as main key animator. SATELIGHT is handling the animation production.
The romantic comedy manga series by Chikyuu no Osakana Ponchan was launched on Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha’s COMIC Ruelle on June 24, 2022, concluding on August 9, 2024. Six total tankobon volumes were released in Japan.
The manga inspired a live-action TV drama adaptation in 2025 and a spinoff manga that was released between 2024 and 2025.
Kodansha USA licensed the Kirio Fan Club manga for English release and describes the main synopsis as:
What would you do if your crush had ear-splitting farts?
Such are the deep, philosophical questions Aimi and Nami, two friends-slash-rivals in romance, ponder as they pull out every unhinged stop to catch the eye of their oblivious classmate Kirio—conducting nightly rituals to entice him into their dreams and listing what they love about him down to the very last organ.
