A teaser trailer and key visual have been released for the upcoming Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san TV anime, an adaptation of the erotic horror-comedy manga written by Eroki and drawn by Shinko Konoshiro. Core staff and cast details were also revealed.
Takumi Tsukumo is directing the anime, which is being produced by Zero-G and ZG-R. Among the other main staff members are Motofumi Nakajo as series composer, the late Toshinari Yamashita (Moritasan wa Mukuchi) as character designer, Nana Hiragi as sub-character designer, and Takayuki Noguchi (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten character designer) and Tomoyuki Abe as chief animation directors.
On the cast side, Tomokazu Sugita is playing Kamui, a psychic who exorcises spirits through sexual methods. Aono Riko is main heroine Shijika Mimizuka, an assistant to Kamui who can see and attract spirits. Other cast members include:

• Shiori Izawa as Inagawa
The Shogakukan-published Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san manga began serialization on Ura Sunday and Manga One in March 2020. There are 12 volumes of the shonen title as of February 2026.
WWWave‘s Deregula label is credited with “produce” (in general, a management/planning-type role), while WWWave occupies the production committee role.
