Voice actress Yo Taichi has been cast in another role as Yuji Fukunaga on the currently airing Liar Game TV anime series. The anime series debuted in Japan on April 6, 2026.
Taichi was first cast as the character Hitomi Miyahara, who appeared in the show’s fourth episode. She also voices Kinue Takehara in the ongoing Scenes from Awajima TV anime series.

Madhouse is in charge of the animation production.
The suspense manga series by Shinobu Kaitani ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine from February 17, 2005 to January 22, 2015. A total of 19 tankobon volumes were published in Japan. Another short manga series by Kaitani was launched in February 2026.
The manga also inspired a Japanese live-action TV drama, a Korean live-action TV drama, a live-action film, and a stage play.
