REMOW announced that it has added two new “light anime’ series to the It’s Anime FAST channel platform: The Great Sage Ryddel and the Hands of Time and Hyakki Yakoushou. Both short-form series will be simulcast on Samsung TV Plus (on channel #3202) and VIZIO WatchFree+ (channel #986).
The first three episodes of The Great Sage Ryddel and the Hands of Time began streaming on April 22, 2026 at 10:00 PM EST. It premiered in Japan on April 1, 2026. Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio handled the animation production.

The series is an adaptation of the full-color manga series, written by Necoco and drawn by Hajime Nitaka. It has been serialized on Shogakukan’s Seed Comics since November 2023.
The main voice cast for the series consisted of Azusa Tadokoro as Norn and Junya Enoki as Riddle.
The main synopsis of The Great Sage Ryddel and the Hands of Time is described as:
Recover everything you’ve lost in your second world! Ryddel, a young man, has lost both his friends and the world at <VESSELS OF MALICE>, those who plot the world’s destruction. Having lost all hope in life, he finds one last inspiration at the brink of despair. What if he could go back to a time before everything ended…? After surviving 1,000 years, he finally succeeds in reversing time. “”This time, I’ll stop them…!”” Arriving in a young body with 1,000 years’ worth of knowledge and experience, the great sage Ryddel’s journey back in time begins now!
The first three episodes of Hyakki Yakoushou were released on April 22, 2026 at 10:30 PM EST. It premiered in Japan on April 7, 2026.

Saya Fukase directed the light anime series at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. UWAN Pictures is credited with the production cooperation.
The main voice cast starred Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ritsu, Ikumi Hasegawa as Tsukasa, and Hironori Kondo as Seiran.
The original horror mystery manga series by Ichiko Ima was first serialized in Asahi Shimbun Publishing’s Nemuki magazine in 1995. It later moved to the Nemuki+ magazine in April 2013 after Nemuki ceased publication in 2012. A total of 32 tankobon volumes have been released as of April 2026. The now-defunct Aurora Publishing licensed the manga series for English release under the title Beyond Twilight. A single volume was published by the company in 2010.
Hyakki Yakoushou’s main synopsis is described as:
Ritsu inherited a mysterious spiritual power from his late grandfather. One night, he dreams of his childhood — a time when he was forced to dress as a girl to hide from malevolent spirits. In the dream, he is nearly attacked by the ghost of a young girl.
Soon after, Ritsu witnesses that same spirit infiltrating his home, blending in with the students of his mother’s tea ceremony class. As he tries to uncover her true identity, he is drawn into a game of “”Mekakushi-oni”” (Blindman’s Buff), where the vengeful spirit manages to steal his left eye…!?
